Special Visit

Nicole came over and brought her baby girl to see the Trendley family a couple of weeks ago. Ava is still so tiny and very pretty. The kids loved her! Sam asked if he could hold "him" and Seeger wanted to hold "it" too. Nicole was VERY laid back and let them all have a turn.

School Field Trip

Soph had a school field trip to the zoo about a week and a half ago and I got to go with them. It was a beautiful fall day and the kids had lots of fun. Their favorite was the carousel and the stingray exhibit. Sophie and Emily on the way there.

The group that I was in charge of~Emily, Andrew, Skyler, and Sophie.

In the goat area part of the children's zoo.

Soph and me waiting for the train.
Sophie with her teacher, Mrs. Patton. Sydney also had Mrs. Patton for 3rd grade. We love her!
Petting the stingrays. They were really slimy, but cool!
Isn't she so stinkin' cute?

My Little Pirate

Bought Sam a Halloween costume last week that I thought was super cute and he LOVED it. He wants to wear it all the time. He makes a pretty good pirate, sound effects and all! ARRRR!

Seeger had to but in on this one. He is NOT going to be Sporticus if I have anything to say about it. I got him a really cute monkey costume, but he cried when I put it on him. I told him it was a Curious George costume, but that didn't really help.

Syd's New Look

Sydney had to get glasses because of an astigmatism. She had been complaining of eye pain and headaches almost every day after school since the start of school this fall. I finally made an eye doctor appointment and he said she might benefit from glasses since she was symptomatic. They have seemed to help with the pain. Praise the Lord!

A Day at the Park

Seeger with his best friend, Emma

Petting the dogs of the old geezer who thought I was Seeger and Emma's grandma! NICE!!!
Seeger loves walking over this bridge and looking at the water.
Emma liked it too!
