Sweet Reindeer

Landon is one week old today. I've been on a mission to find him this adorable reindeer outfit in his size for one week. I've been to 4 different Kohls stores and had 3 others called to try to find it. I've also been to JC Penneys and Macys to try and find it. Yesterday, while I was seeing a patient in another city, I found it! I was so happy. Doesn't he just make the cutest little reindeer you've ever seen?

Christmas Card Photo Shoot 2008

It is so difficult to get the perfect picture for the almost 200 Christmas cards I send out each year. Here are a few of this year's rejects. The boys are the ones that make it a real challenge.

Landon at 4 Days Old

He's so cuddly. I loved these newborn days with my babies. They were some of the sweetest times. Jessica says he's an angel, although the night before these pics were taken he decided to stay up all night long. He finally tuckered out at 5:30 in the morning. He's just so precious and he smells so good. I love that baby smell!!!

Syd and Santa Do a Little Jig

Sophie Decapitates Santa

Another Hospital Visit

We had to go back to see Landon a second time because our first time there right after he was born, we didn't get a chance to hold him. Of course, the girls loved holding him. I know we'll have lots more chances.
Soph's turn.

Almost makes me wish we could have another one.

Paw Paw has been gone too long. He's been replaced!!! Seeger loved Uncle John. No one is quite sure why though! HA!

Sam's Christmas Program

Sam's program was so cute. His whole class dressed as shepherds. There were also angles, cows, donkeys and lambs on stage. They sang several songs with motions and recited some scripture about the birth of our Savior. Sam knew all the words and motions. He did a great job. Grandma Carol came long enough to see Sam and get her picture with him, but then had to leave to make it to Riley's program. Hers was on the same night at the same time.

Today was filled with Christmas festivities from the start. I helped with Sam's party at 10:30, then Sophie's at 1:30. Tonight we have Sam's Christmas program at 7:00 and then Christmas break begins! The kids are so excited about the break from school and of course about a visit from Santa!Getting instructions about how to make their ornament.

Landon Meets Great Grandma

I took Grandma to the hospital today to see her 11th great-grandchild. She thought he was pretty special and very handsome. Jessica said she's been hit by the overwhelming love between a mother and her child. She's feeling pretty good.
Not even 24 hours old yet. The whole Trendley clan is going to go see little Landon tonight. Do you think he's ready for all that stimulation?

Landon is here!!!

Grandma waiting anxiously right outside the delivery room listening to her grandson cry and waiting to get a glimpse of him.
Landon Jacob Prost arrived today, December 17, 2008 at 4:32pm. He weighs 6# 5oz and is 19" long. He hadn't even had a bath yet in these pics and is only about 30 minutes old.

He's perfect!

Loving Family

And baby makes 3!
What an awesome Grandma June is going to be!

Grandpa's boy. John was telling him about all the rides he was going to give him on his Harley. He said right now, Landon would fit perfectly in a saddle bag!

Landon with his Aunt Kayla. She has said she can't wait to tell him all about his Uncle Jacob. Great Grandma Nevels said she's been praying that Landon would have Jake's sweet disposition.

More Holiday Fun

Today we made gingerbread houses while Seeger took his nap. I'm surprised Sam had any candy left to decorate his house because he ate a lot of it. They had fun creating.

Band Concert

Sydney had her first band concert this past Tuesday night. She was the prettiest girl on the stage and her smile lit up the gym after each song!

Christmas Cookies

What's Christmas time without a little baking? First up, chocolate chip. The kids had fun putting all the ingedients together, mixing it up, and sampling the dough (my favortie part)!
