Enjoying the Weather

Today was like Spring around here. I'm not sure how warm it did get, but when we left the park, my car said it was 68 degrees. I took the boys to the park right next to the kids school after I picked Sam up. 3 of his buddies met us there to play. It was nice to get outdoors and enjoy some fresh air.

Fourth Grade Field Trip

Sydney's class went on a field trip to a local theater today to see "The Miracle Worker", a play about Helen Keller and I got to go with them. It was a really good play!
After the play, we all ate the sack lunches we brought in the lobby of the theater.

Valentines Day Candy

I never remember getting so much candy for Valentines Day when I was a kid. We traded cards in elementary school but not candy. These days, it's unusual to give or receive a card without some sort of candy. Here's our ginormous bowl of candy from Christmas and Valentines Day and Easter is just around the corner!

Baby Landon Update

I got to babysit Landon today for a couple of hours while Jess had a massage. I couldn't wait to hold him and cuddle and he slept the whole time in his car seat. I got to love on him when he woke up to eat though. We played dress up with him and had a little photo shoot. He's 8 weeks old today (already).

Fast Asleep

Here's another shot of Seeger sleeping. He's actually under his bed in this one. He got sent to his room because he didn't want to sit at the dinner table with the family while we ate supper one night. He crawled under his bed and fell right asleep. That's what happens when little boys miss their naps!

Our Future's So Bright We Gotta Wear Shades

The girls got new sunglasses last week and they looked so cool in them, I had to get a picture for the blog. Look at all that snow. We got 7 inches in all. The kids missed 2 days of school because of it and now it's all gone. It got really warm here the last few days. I think it may have even reached 70. We're getting Spring fever!
