Sam is 6!

Sam's birthday was almost a month ago! He turned 6 on October 16. His party was at Incredible Pizza with 5 of his friends plus his siblings. They loved the bumper cars and go carts the best. With presents all the way from Japan!

Special Visit

Nicole came over and brought her baby girl to see the Trendley family a couple of weeks ago. Ava is still so tiny and very pretty. The kids loved her! Sam asked if he could hold "him" and Seeger wanted to hold "it" too. Nicole was VERY laid back and let them all have a turn.

School Field Trip

Soph had a school field trip to the zoo about a week and a half ago and I got to go with them. It was a beautiful fall day and the kids had lots of fun. Their favorite was the carousel and the stingray exhibit. Sophie and Emily on the way there.

My Little Pirate

Bought Sam a Halloween costume last week that I thought was super cute and he LOVED it. He wants to wear it all the time. He makes a pretty good pirate, sound effects and all! ARRRR!

Seeger had to but in on this one. He is NOT going to be Sporticus if I have anything to say about it. I got him a really cute monkey costume, but he cried when I put it on him. I told him it was a Curious George costume, but that didn't really help.

Syd's New Look

Sydney had to get glasses because of an astigmatism. She had been complaining of eye pain and headaches almost every day after school since the start of school this fall. I finally made an eye doctor appointment and he said she might benefit from glasses since she was symptomatic. They have seemed to help with the pain. Praise the Lord!

School Days

Just a couple weeks into the school year and homework has started for all. It's a little tough getting back into the school routine.
Sam made this Ee for elephant hat at school and Seeger loved it! Sam says the best parts of his school day are lunch and recess. He also likes music class. He doesn't like rest time.

American Idol Concert

We went to the American Idol concert last Saturday night. There were 16 of us in all. It was a GREAT show. We always have such a good time. The idols are so entertaining and perform for about 3 hours. Can't wait until next year!me and my girls

Seeger Starts Preschool

Seeger's first day of preschool was August 24. He was NOT happy about going. He cried that morning getting ready, getting into the car, getting out and the whole way to class. He was a total crab after school as well, even worse. He said he didn't like it and he wasn't going back. He did though 2 days later and things were better. Two days after that, he went again and it was like he's been going forever. He goes MWF from 8:15am until 3:00pm @ the same school as the other kids.

After school the first day, he got sent to his room for his bad behavior and slept for 2 hours. I guess all the stress and excitement of it all wore him out!
