Spiderman: The good and the bad

Seeger wants to put a "suit" on almost every day since he first put on the Buzz Lightyear costume about a week ago. Of course, Sam loves having someone to play spiderman with. They usually fight over which suit they're going to wear. It looks like they got the wrong suit with the wrong kid if you know what I mean.

Mom's Big Retirement Party

After 27+ years at Schneider, mom is retiring. They had 57 RSVP for her party, but more than that came and they had to keep bringing out chairs. The theme of the party was Hawaiian. They spared no expense. She even got a nice bonus from the owners for her upcoming travels. Benefield family (in Japan), here they come.

Another day at the pool

We got a family pool pass to the local water parks for Christmas. Thanks Maw Maw and Paw Paw. Today we took friends from school. There's not much better than good friends, sun, and cool water on a hot summer day.Syd, Soph, and sisters Emily and Amanda, who are the exact age of the Trendley girls.

A night out with friends

It's always a great night for mom when I don't have to cook. We went out for dinner with neighbors and friends to a local resturant where kids eat free, cha ching! Another bonus, Seeger was well behaved.Waiting on dad

Well, it finally got warm enough to put up the pool. And even though it's hot outside, the pool water isn't warm enough to get in if you're over 9 years old. The 9 and under crew can tolerate the bitter cold water for about 5 minutes at a time.
