After an almost 2 week beach vacation, we're home for 3 days and "there's nothing to do". The weather here is kind of unusual for the end of May. It's not very warm and it's been raining a lot, so for right now, swimming is out. Sydney and Sophie had gift certificates for The Painted Zebra, which is a place where you pick out a ceramic piece to paint, then they glaze it and fire it. We decided it sounded like something fun to do today. We had lunch first at Syd's favortite, Fazolis. Then, we went to create a masterpiece. Sydney picked a bunny and a heart shaped trinket box to paint. Sophie chose a penguin and a rectangle shaped box and Sam got a VW Bug bank to paint. They all had lots of fun. Thanks Katie!! Sam kept saying "This is so special" as he was painting his bank. We get to pick up the finished product in a couple of days.
"This is so great I can hardly stand it!!!!"
Sam with his "special" car.

Seeger missed out on all the fun. He had to stay home and take a nap.

"Let's do it again!!!!"
