Happy Baby

Jess sent out these pics today. She was able to capture these sweet smiles on camera. He will be 6 weeks old tomorrow already. I had to share them on my blog.

Snow Day

The kids were off school today because of the snow and they couldn't get out in it fast enough. The girls played outside for about an hour and a half while I was working. Then they came in and I threw all their wet clothes in the dryer. When they were dry, they went out again and took Sam with them. They can endure the cold weather much more than me! It might have hit 20 degrees today. Sydney with Breanna (a neighbor)

Tuckered Out

The girls had several friends from school over all day on Saturday and Sam had one of the girl's brothers to play with. It was very loud and crazy, but the kids had so much fun with each other. Seeger played hard too and by 6:30 that evening, he couldn't stay awake a minute longer. He fell asleep on the family room floor right in front of the fireplace.

Surprise Visitor

Steve came to the states for some training in Texas and made a surprise visit to us afterwards. The girls were so excited to see him! Sydney almost knocked him over with her hug when she saw him. Steve got to meet the newest member of our extended family, little Landon.

Christmas in January

Sophie's Christmas program was supposed to be in December, but it was cancelled because of bad weather. They couldn't fit it in before the holiday break so they decided to have it after break. Sophie sang her little heart out. She didn't look like she was having much fun during the performance. She said she was really nervous. Miss Holt (her teacher) with Soph

Another Missing Tooth

Sam lost his 3rd tooth today with a little help from dad. I love the toothless grins. He was excited when he went to bed about a visit from the tooth fairy.

Dressed for Church

Here's some pictures of the girls before church in some hand-me-downs from their cousin Christine. They were so excited to get a big suitcase full of some of the things that didn't fit her any more. It was like getting a chest full of treasure and the best part was it all "smelled like Chris!"

3 Weeks Old Already

Landon was 3 weeks yesterday (1/7). Jess emailed me these pics she took of him that day and asked me to share them on my blog. I told her I was going to have to rename my blog the "Trendley/Prost Blog". She asked if I'd share it with her so she could blog on this one without creating her own. Things are going well for the little Prost family. Landon is growing and so far is a dream baby. Jess is enjoying motherhood very much and is thankful that she doesn't have a job to return to in 9 short weeks.

Happy 8th Birthday Sophie!

Sophie's birthday party was January 2. We went to a local indoor pool with 18 kids. They swam for about 2 1/2 hours, then we got dressed, had a snack, and Soph opened her presents. She got gift cards from Target & itunes, cash, webkinz, pet shops, DS games, jewelry, and clothes. The birthday girl with some of the kids that came.
Seeger had so much fun.

Getting ready to dig in to the loot.

Seeger with Brandon, another neighbor that lives behind us.

After swimming, Sophie chose 2 friends from school to spend the night and Sydney had one. They played rock band and then we sang "Happy Birthday" to Soph and had cookie cake.
$100 bucks to go towards her ipod.

Rockin' in the New Year

We had a last minute New Year's Eve get-together at our house. The Prosts and the Orlandos came over. The Orlandos are friends we know from the kids' school and they brought their new Rock Band for Wii that Santa brought them. The kids played for a while, then they got booted off so the adults could have a turn. The kids almost didn't get a second chance the grown ups were having so much fun. We went out the next day to buy our own.
Matt really wanted to be a rock star when he grew up, not a coke salesman.

Syd can rock that guitar.

Watching the "show"
All the noise didn't bother Landon and let me tell you, it was LOUD!!!

Getting a button pinned on that says "Birthday Girl"

Opening presents. This was the gift we got her. It's an Uppercase Living saying the says "The Love of a family is life's greatest blessing." She also got some clothes, a gift card, an over-the-stove microwave, a pin, a candle, a new bedspread, and more. Grandma is such a blessing to us all. We are so thankful that we've had such an awesome, Godly, loving woman as a mother, grandma, and great grandma. We pray for many more healthy years for her.
